Randy Rosen

Randy Rosen has been coaching hockey for over 20 years at various levels. He currently coaches at the Midget level and with the Midget AAA Kings in Sherwood Park.

Randy brings a passion for leadership and coaching not only for players but also other coaches within the province of Alberta. He offers advice and information to improve the standards of the sport, as well as awareness on injury prevention, good sportsmanship and teamwork.

He has attained many coaching certifications including being trained in Emergency First Aid and CPR. His professional career has been spent in the financial services world in various roles including teaching young Canadians money and business skills via fun and interactive programs from Grade 3 to the high school level.

 

Jay Henderson

Jay Henderson knows how important good training is for skills, sportsmanship and performance on the ice. As an coach along with Coach Randy Rosen with Red Light Hockey in Sherwood Park, Alberta, as well as assistant coach with the Kootenay Ice of the Western Hockey League.

Jay played with the Red Deer Rebels and Edmonton Ice for the Western Hockey League and launched his professional career with the Bruins’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Providence Bruins in 1997. He was then signed on with the Boston Bruins and played 33 games over two seasons.

Henderson then played for Augsburger Panther and Frankfurt Lions of Germany’s DEL during the 2005–06 and 2006–07 seasons. He then moved to Austria playing for HC TWK Innsbruck. Moving back to Canada, he started the 2009–10 season at ECHL team Victoria Salmon Kings. He then played with the Central Hockey League’s Wichita Thunder and later British Elite Ice Hockey League’s Nottingham Panthers in January 2010.
